Welcome to the new Trillion Employee Portal. As you may or may not know, Trillion has been working on updating our website for a little over a year now. One of the key things we wanted to integrate into the new site was a central area all our employees could go for current company information as well as company specific links.

DC United Soccer Outing

Trillion is planning to have a fun outing to see the DC United play their second game in the new Audi stadium. The game is Saturday July 28 at 7pm. Trillion will be buying group tickets for Trillion employees and a +1. Please use the google form to sign up by June 14.

State of Maryland Contract

State of Maryland $200 million is being invested into MD THINK, or Maryland’s Total Human-services Information Network (hey, acronyms gotta acronym). It’s a cloud-based data repository that will make it easier to share information across departments.

A first phase will focus on sharing info between the state’s human resources and health departments to help children in foster care, disconnected youth and families. Caseworkers will also receive tablet devices for the first time so they can input data in the field. Trillion partners with Optimal Solutions Technologies (OST) is among the 15 team selected in MD Think.

Technical Support for FEMALab Contract

Washington, D.C., September 2017 – The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Office of Chief Technology Officer (OCTO) selected Trillion Technology Solutions, Inc. as prime contractor for the Technical Support for FEMALab and Chief Technology Officer contract.  This contract provides support to establish innovative technology practices for development of deep field-based solutions and addressing challenges adversely affecting the Whole Community.  The contract has a ceiling value of $3.9M.

FEMA’s Office of the Chief Technology Officer (OCTO) provides survivor-centric support of the FEMA enterprise through the field-based integration and implementation of emerging technologies – thereby enabling citizens and first responders to prepare for, protect against, respond to, recover from and mitigate all hazards.

OCTO work has a number of initiatives in support of FEMA’s mission.  Support of modernization efforts including evaluation and incubation of emerging technologies.  Through OpenFEMA, the release of new datasets to support the whole community and continue evolution of the OpenFEMA API.  Deploy and refine an Agile Continuous-Integration/Continuous-Deployment (CI/CD) pipeline to be used throughout the OCIO and other organizations at FEMA. Developing advanced human-centric survivor-centric user experience (UX) models that form templates for OCIO to follow in all future architecture, development and technology acquisition.
