Praveen Chandra

He is passionate about leveraging emerging technologies such as cloud computing, big data analytics, machine learning & artificial intelligence to provide optimal solutions to TRILLION’s customers. Under his leadership, TRILLION has successfully delivered large enterprise and mission critical projects in the US Federal and commercial markets. Praveen is instrumental in bringing efficiencies to our solutions by employing modern software development concepts, Agile development methodologies, automation and zero trust security. Praveen is a thought leader and a trusted advisor to many industry executives on software development, enterprise integration and use of emerging technologies. He brings rich experience of over 25 years working in varied industry segments including telecom and IT services. Praveen holds a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Southern Illinois University of Edwardsville. He lives in northern Virginia with his wife and two kids and enjoys traveling and watching cricket in his free time.

Cindy is a broadly accomplished information systems professional with 35 + years’ experience and a solid record of direct contributions to improved business operations in both the private and government sectors. Her strengths include assessing business system needs, documenting requirements, designing appropriate system solutions, and providing overall project management guidance to clients to satisfy their daily operational needs and modernization initiatives.

She has more than 23 years’ experience working with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and Department of Justice (DOJ) including direct collaboration with high level agency officials. Her experience in the commercial world included time with American International Underwriters (AIU) implementing inhouse developed applications and process improvements in their New Zealand, Puerto Rico, Italy, Belgium and Mexico offices.

Cindy is a proud graduate of the University of Virginia. She and her husband, Andy, live in Clifton, VA and have two grown children. The DeSalvos enjoy spending time in their garden, traveling, attending live music shows and cheering on their beloved VA Cavaliers and Washington Nationals.

Vertume holds a BS in Computer Science from Virginia Tech and an MBA from VT’s Pamplin College of Business. He lives in Alexandria, VA with his wife and daughter and is an avid reader of history and science.

Gavin joined Trillion in August 2019 as a Deputy Project Manager supporting our DISA JFW contract with agile ceremonies and documentation, as well as served as a scrum master on the DISA GFM program, before joining the Business Development team full time. He is a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and SAFe Agilist, and has supported our R&D team as a scrum master for our proposal opportunities that require coding challenges.
Before joining Trillion, Gavin served as a Business Analyst and Project Manager for a policy research company for 7 years, supporting requirements analysis, documentation, and project implementation for survey research data collection initiatives with waterfall methodologies.
Gavin lives in McLean, VA, with his wife, Melissa, and our dog, Rory. They enjoy spending time together at home, taking long walks with Rory through our beautiful parks nearby, and travelling to visit family and friends.

Doug is a retired Marine who served as a Communications Officer as well as a Marine Security Guard during his time as an Enlisted Marine.

He then worked as a contractor and served as the Team Lead for the Trojan Spirit and the Support Wide Area Network (SWAN) projects within PM Comm and PM Intel at Marine Corps Systems Command (MARCORSYSCOM).

Doug came to Trillion Technology Solutions in 2020 when he worked at DHS in the Office of the CIO. Upon completion of the contract, Doug moved to the Business Development team.

He is an avid Harley Davidson rider who enjoys traveling with his wife, Diane, riding his Peloton bike, driving his truck, reading historical nonfiction, and watching the New York Yankees.

He has worn many hats throughout his career including: backend tester, database developer, Java developer, analytics engineer, technical team lead and agile team lead. Some of his career accomplishments include:

  • Designed and Developed FEMA NFIRS Datawarehouse/Reporting Solution

Michael started his career working for DHS FEMA as a configuration management build engineer before moving onto roles as a Functional Analyst and Technical Project Manager embedded with the federal team for the Disaster Survivor Application Intake system (Disaster Assistance Center). His previous experience being directly involved with the federal client and directly involved with the development team has given him the unique ability to troubleshoot issues from all angles. Regardless of the role he has always enjoyed working directly with the technology that he support. Michael utilizes the deep desire to understand technology with his natural ability to communicate to help clients tackle both technical and managerial issues the occur on projects and provide practical solutions.

Michael has lived locally in NoVA for 12 year and in Virginia his whole life. Outside of work he enjoys spending time outside with his wife and two year old son finding interesting trails, museums, and playgrounds in the area, and attending DCUnited games on weekends.

He previously worked at the Investment Company Institute (ICI), Federal Home Loan Banks – Office of Finance (FHLB-OF), and most recently at IBM. He has a degree in Economics from the University of Maryland and began self-learning in the IT field while at ICI. Tom worked as a full-stack developer at the FHLB-OF and concentrated solely on BI while with IBM, both as a developer/admin and later as a Project/Program Manager. While with TRILLION he has worked as a PM on several projects including FEMA NFIP Pivot which won the Gary E. Carter award for best DHS Agile Modernization program in 2020. Tom and his wife have two daughters, and a (female) dog. They love to hike, bike, play tennis, travel, and spend time with friends and family. He also loves to play golf and is an avid sports fan. A few of Tom’s favorite teams are the Dallas Cowboys, Washington Capitals, and any Maryland Terrapins or JMU Dukes teams.

In his early career, he was Director of Operations and Finance for a small technology consulting firm for over 12 years. David has also been active in the PMI Washington DC Chapter for 10 years having spearheaded the PMIWDC Shenandoah Valley Local community that provides project management training and events in Winchester, VA and surrounding Frederick County.

Outside of work, David enjoys spending time with his family in town or at the beach (usually OBX), and can otherwise be found in the neighborhood walking/running with 2 dogs early morning or late night.
